IMG_8875 (2)Mixing, contrasting and stitching together of fabrics in principal seemed surprising but designers were showing love for the eclectic on the catwalks this SS15. Unexpected combinations of prints and textures were gracing the runways and they didn’t half look beautiful! Silks, cottons, patchwork prints and materials- the runway was resonating with modernity and quirkiness; it’s all getting a bit arty!

From pop-art to polka-dots, the catwalks were alive with graphic wonderment, eyes were fixed on the unusual and nothing was sacred. The look’s were reminiscent of eastern vibes and boho beauty, effortless amalgamations of patterns and colours looked so vibrant with culture and coolness.

You all know how in love I am with anything Bohemian and cultured, so this was another trend that excited me, I felt like going and buying loads of different swathes of fabric and making multiple maxi skirts ready for the summer!

Donna here beat me to it! Except she picked her beautiful skirt up in Las Vegas, it just oozes cool, teamed with a plain vest top and shawl/scarf; this look would take you anywhere! You could wear it with heels or flats and dress it up for the night with a cropped denim jacket or leather, easy peasy.
