IMG_8200There was a lot of focus on metal and armour this season on the catwalk, there were lustrous metal details dripping off the models necks, arms, bodies, clothes and more; ¬†Almost like the models were dressed for battle. The ideas have come from old historical times and futuristic imaginings, nature, warriors and more; and i reckon they are going to be here to stay. Who wouldn’t want to dress in futuristic warrior garb and be dripping in metal accessories, it’s like being a chic hunter warrior and having glammed up protection! Almost liberating eh?!

Cathy here is sporting an awesome leather jacket with spiked shoulders, she got it at Celeb boutique. Its definitely warrior inspired and almost sculptural with the lifted shoulders and draping collar details. We caught her on her lunch break at work, but even though shes in her uniform the jacket just creates an outfit, she reminiscent of Balmains look for Paris fashion week 2014, very military moto/ armoured historic.

You could take this jacket into the night with a pair or tapered trew’s or skinny jeans, khaki t-shirt or sheer blouse, add knee high boots, chelsea boots or pointed heels and go for a fur clutch to contrast against the spike detailing on the jacket.
